American jazz guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel has been named one of the most excellent and influential jazz guitarists of our age. He has been characterised as a subtle innovator, excellent improviser, and endowed in his special individual sound. He has collaborated with stars on the music stage such as Eric Clapton, Chris Potter, Brad Mehldau, Gary Burton, among others. The programme will include music from the album for big band Our Secret World with the brilliant Latvian Radio Big Band.

Please, take note of SIA Lielais Dzintars’ rules so that every culture enthusiast can spend a pleasant time enjoying the performance.
The Great Amber Concert Hall expects the guests to arrive an hour before the event.
Children under the age of 7 are not admitted to night events for adults.
We offer special seats in the parterre for wheelchair users and their companion upon prior request. The special tickets can be reserved in advance and purchased only at the Great Amber information centre by calling +371 63424555 or via email [email protected].
The information centre employee-cashier will inform the Client Service Department about the necessities to ensure seating availability. Upon arrival, please go to the Information Centre, so that the staff can lead you to your seat. The building has a panoramic elevator to enable people with reduced mobility to get to the necessary floor.
Please arrive at the concert hall on time – admission to the hall is not permitted after the 3rd bell and the start of the event.
Before entering the hall, please turn off your mobile phones, music devices, watches or other electronic sound signal devices.
Use of photo and video cameras, as well as sound recording equipment is only permitted with the consent of SIA Lielais Dzintars.
The representatives of Great Amber, the event organizer, event artists and other authorized persons may film and photograph during the event. By purchasing a ticket to an event and/or visiting the concert hall Great Amber, the visitor agrees that he/she can be photographed and filmed and that his/her photo can be used in movies, photographs, and audio-visual recordings. The Great Amber or an authorized third party owns all rights to such materials and its use. LLC Great Amber, the organizer of the event or an authorized third party can use such materials (except LLC Great Amber permanent video surveillance and security film materials) at their discretion throughout the world in any media for advertising or any another purpose, as well as for commercial use such as DVD publishing without any consideration or compensation to the visitor.
Flowers and gifts for artists can be left with the cloakroom attendants on the 2nd floor, indicating the addressee on a special card. Your presents will be handed to the performers on stage.
