he Embassy of Latgale GORS invites the godfather of both fortepianos Vestard Shimkus.to celebrate it’s 4th anniversary. In honor of the event, Vestards is preparing a new concert program. The leading motive of the concert program is the film music. The first part of the concert will present the compositions of Janis Ivanonvs, Peteris Vasks, Philip Gass, as well as of Vestard Shimkus himself. However, the second part of the concert will reveal the world known masterpieces composed by John Williams, Yann Tiersen, Harold Arlen, Hans Zimmer, and Astor Piazzolla , resounding themes of some very well-known movies, as “Harry Potter”, “Amelia”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Mission Impossible”, and many others.

Children under the age of 7 have no admission to the performance. Children`s playroom is open half an hour before the event and has no attendance fee (intended for kids at the age 3 to 7). Please make a reservation in advance by calling +371 22020206 or +371 64633303.
