Experience the Story of Latvia’s Centenary at the Brass Orchestra Concert “In One Breath”

If you want to experience positive emotions and a spectacular show paralleled only by the Song and Dance Festival, come to the VIII Reunion Concert of Latvian Educational Institution Brass Orchestras “In One Breath”. Already on 5 May at 17:00, the 37 best student brass orchestras of Latvia will join forces at the Ķīpsala Hall – 1500 young musicians will tell the story of Latvia’s century long history through music.

You will hear folk music and compositions by Latvian composers such as A. Jurjāns, E. Dārziņš, G. Ordelovskis, R. Pauls, J. Lūsēns, J. Kulakovs and others from the period of free Latvia up until nowadays.

The concert’s artistic director and principal conductor is Haralds Bārzdiņš, director – Inga Krišāne, scenographer – Rūdolfs Baltiņš, choreographer – Ilze Līviņa.
